About 25 years ago I met Lance Glasser in his office at KLA Tencor. I was immediately impressed with the art work in his office, much of it done by his parents. Impressive for sure. Over the years Lance and I developed a nice friendship, even introducing and sharing bread with our wives. After visiting Lance and Wendy in their California home we became more impressed with his sculpturing work in Lance’s post work life. It started with my wife Isabelle’s birthday about 3-1/2 years ago. I purchased and surprised her with Al Dante, a magnificent piece that reminded me so much of my Italian heritage.  Nanny would have loved that piece in her kitchen; Isabelle definitely loves her.

After visiting Lance and Wendy for their anniversary party we fell in love with another one of his pieces; The Blues Singer. We built a new table, found a cool old Cotton Club picture, my Dads old record player, his pipes and a charming old Henry Ford book. Together they look nice. Isabelle and I have garnered so much respect by knowing Lance and Wendy and have been blessed to own two beautiful bronze castings by Lance. Could there be another piece on the horizon?  Quite possibly.
